Children First Canada (CFC) is hosting its 4th digital session for the Young Canadians’ Parliament.

The objectives of the digital forums are to educate children about their rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), to educate them on their options to take action, advise on the impacts of COVID-19, and to provide a platform to exercise their rights, including having direct access to parliamentarians and decision makers to share their recommendations and perspective.

Time: 1:30 - 4:30pm

Children First Canada invites you to attend the Young Canadians’ Parliament - a program where you get to talk to other kids about issues that affect YOUR life! You’ll learn that you have rights, that you have a voice, and you will have a chance to talk to important decision makers in the Canadian Parliament!

If you’re a young person, you’re invited to attend!

  • Want to meet other children and youth from across Canada and talk about interesting topics that impact YOUR life?

  • Feel like you have something to say but don’t have a place to say it?

  • Want to discover your own voice and learn from people your age?

  • Want to learn more about your rights (yes, you have rights!!)?

  • Want to learn more about how the Canadian government and how to make a difference in the lives of your peers?

In this session, along with other children and youth, you’ll explore the following question:

  • What are the top 10 threats to children in Canada?

At this event, you’ll learn how these threats impact the lives of children and youth across the country. Plus, you’ll get to take action by sharing your recommendations to parliamentarians at the session!

Registration open until September 25, 9am.
