Summary by Liz Couture, Drawdown RH: Fred Pearce, author of ‘The Climate Files: The Battle for the Truth About Global Warming’, writes that the Amazon Rain Forest is not really a carbon sink that take in CO2 anymore. Not only that, but the alarmingly increased methane measurements are not adequately included in the models used in the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) report. Not good news for keeping global warming under 2 degrees.
